mahaballipuram temple as a garbhagriha which enshrines a sivalinga and a cute little mandaba is surrounded by a strong outer wall.Two shrines face opposite.It consist of inner and outer shrine.Inner shrine is dedicated to ksatriyasimnesvara and the outer shrines is dedicated to vishnu.inner side of wall consisting of large sculpture.In lion vahana durga seats.
