Hi guys . . . Welcome back to my blog . . . Hope you are all good and fine. Today, I am going to share you about a small buddha's story. Let we start . . .
Once upon a time, Buddha was sitting with his pupils and the king of AJATASHATRU. The king visited to see buddha for clarifies his doubt.
The King asked: “OH MY LORD, since the time I turned into your devotees, everybody are taking undue advantages of me and my calmness. Before, I am were very rude, angry and giving punishment to my people so everyone was afraid of me but When I was became your devotees, I have become very peaceful and sympathy for everyone but some people are taking these as theirs advantages. Due to this, They are facing lots of problems in my country. So, please tell me what should I do now to save my people".
After hearing his story the buddha's replied him by telling a story.
Buddha's reply:
Once upon a time, In a village with large area of land, in the center there was a large tree there lived a poisonous python in a hole under the tree. The snake attacked the people who gone near the tree due to this, many people are died so, the villagers were afraid to go near the tree.
One day a priest was going through the village, in there he saw that tree and decided to meditate under the tree but the peoples in the village's are warn him by saving about that snake but the priest walked towards the tree. Then, he reached that tree the snake came from the hole and ready to bite him but the priest recited the mantra towards the snakes eyes and the snake starts talking to him. The snake asked him “Don't you afraid of me”. The priest replied, “why should I wants to afraid, I am not afraid of anything like death nor do I desire to live. But you are afraid of everyone that's why you are biting others to save you”. After hearing this the snake was become bewildered, till now the snake met the people who kills him or ran away for afraid of him.
From his words, the snake was influenced by the words of the priest.
After this, the snake said, “OH MY LORD, you are right I bite everyone to save me from the people, if I don't do this people would kill me but you are teach me that life will end one day and it will not good to kill others for my sake. So, from now I won't do this again instead I will give love for others”.
But the result turns opposite to the snake. when the people saw that the snake was not bite others who went to near to the tree so, they take advantages and starts hurting and scratching the snake. After some days, the priest walked into the same tree and there he saw the snake. The snake starts saying how he was torturing here and the misbehaving of the people.
The priest replied, “ OH MY FRIEND, It seems you have influenced by my words. I told you to not hurt others but I dint tell stop you from hissing for yourself defense”. Here the snake released.
After hearing this story the king of AJATSHATRU get released.
So, we wants to have to fulfill our duty to be a human by being tough from outside so that we can discipline everyone in the world.
