India 'The Country To Be Loved' ( Part 6 ) Final

Hello everyone welcome again so these the last part of series india ‘the country to be loved’. ( Part 6 )

So in these talking you about the physical features .

Let's begain….

5.The Coastal plains:-

This are the narrow strips running around the Arabian sea , Indian Ocean and bay of Bengal at the ending part of india .

The western coast are present between the western ghats which are narrow plains. 

There are three sections -

  1. The northern part called as Konkan. 
  2. The central part called as kannad 
  3. The southern part called as Malabar. 

The plains along the bay of Bengal are wide and stretched. These are referred by different name in northern and southern part . In northern part it is called northern circar while in southern part it is called coromandal coast .

These are formed when the ocean level became down. 

Timber, cotton, corn and soyabean are the important crops which ard grown in these areas. 

These coastal plains are lies from Rann of kutch in the west to the west bengal in the east with the covering of about 6,150 km.

Here the climate is hot in summer as usually and cold in winter .

The islands:-

The islands of the india are situated on both the side in Arabian ocean in southwest and in bay of bengal in southeast .

These are two in number

1.Lakshadweep - These are the islands lies close to the Malabar coast  of kerala in the arabian ocean. In the year 1973, these were named as Lakshadweep. It covers small area of 32 sq.kmKavaratti is the head quarter of the Lakshadweep. These are the group of islands with the covering area of 78000 sq.km of the Arabian sea . There are 36 coral islands in it .The bitra is the smallest island of these .

2. The Andaman and Nicobar islands - These islands are located in the bay of bengal . These are divided into two parts the Andaman in the north and the Nicobar in the south area . These are bigger in size . These islands have mountains . These are closed to the equater and have a great density of flora and fauna. These islands covered an area of 8,249 km² . It has population of 4.34 lakha as per 2019. These is the group of 300 islands .The economy of these islands is consists of agriculture, trade, commerce, fishing and industry .

So these was all about the country india 

I think I had given the general knowledge for india that everyone should know .
