It is a serious and emotional movie but at the same have funny and silly moments makes it complete.
But universe has it's own plan and this entire movie depend on two heavy words, that are - LOVE and FAITH. If you have faith in your love you can achieve miles and can overcome any difficulty in your life.
As even after the heart broking words of the doctor, Travis have full faith in his love that she will come back for him. Because the loneliness of Travis is filled by Gabby which they both have no idea about.
The movie also have many fun elements that's make it a complete package for a romantic hit.
If you have that someone special in your life, you can definitely connect yourself with the story of the movie. Maybe this movie seems little boring to the people who are not big fan of romantic movies.

This movie is a great depiction of the harsh reality of life THE CHOICE because we often get confused about what dress to wear, what shoes to wear, whether to choose this, whether to choose that. But, always remember when the destiny allows you to make choice, it is he most difficult task to complete.
