Do you remember what were you doing at the age of eight ? May be playing cricket or video game or hanging out with some friends. Rahul’s daughter Anjali in the meantime was trying get her father reunited with his closest friend simply to fulfil the promise she made to her deceased mother. She eventually goes on to complete her mother’s last wish which is a learning lesson. 

Regardless of age, if we make a promise, we must act upon it.

Love is friendship 

It was a time when all the movies were about falling in love but this movie gave a different direction, that love is more then that, friendship is the first stage of love. You can't be a true lover of your partner if you cannot be a good friend.

In our daily life as well there must be many example of this where a person does not express his love and cries after time has gone. Pretty obvious now the generation is straight forward and I think for this generation this issue would not happen.

Anjali falling for self centered Rahul was unexpected looking at the initial fights between them. But that's love, it can happen anytime for anyone. Hence the film proves that :-
