College life is the best part of life for everyone. Nobody can stop exclaiming about his/her college life to his/her friends.
After completing my schools in home town, I was curious to join college. Everyone will have many expectations on college life, like getting new friends, legally 18 years of age and we can make decisions, we can go for movies and taking drinks ……… WOW, I am remembering all those desires!
I was late to college on my first day, LOL ….. My class teacher asked me to introduce myself as soon as I got inside the class. I was stamping in front of class mates. They mistook me - I am an introvert. I was deciding where to sit, either the first desk or the last one. My mind triggered me to sit in the middle row. The bench mates introduced themselves and we shared our school memories and family background. Each of my friend was from different district, spoke different languages. We got to stay in a single hostel. We enjoyed every moment in hostel, playing, gossiping, shouting……. Such sweet memories!!
We were not aware of the environment in our first year, So we used to wander in the college to identify the places and departments. Among all the department, the mechanical department had a good and clean corridor. Our class mates were too friendly and we did our assignments and projects together. After completing our first year, we entered into second year…. BOOM!!
The second year was not that easy to handle, because we want to work on the core subjects. Often, My friends will switch on the DC power supply and make spark. The teacher will be scolding us for making such things. We worked hard, night before the exam and got pass marks. Every evening, we will go to food court and have our junky snacks. One day, we had a mock test and no one prepared for the test. We were walking to the college, planning how to escape from the test. In a sudden, I got hit by a van and became unconscious. I was hurt and my friends took me to the hospital. My class teacher and other teachers came to hospital and looked at my situation. It was worse and I was supposed to get stitch on the forehead. My friends did not leave the place and they were holding my hand. The doctor treated me and asked to rest. My friends stayed with me and the bunked the class without writing the test. We were like, God listened to our prayers. After the end of second year, We got into third year.
The hardest part in college life is the third year, where we did the projects, assessment, exams. That was hectic. After clearing all the exams in third year, we entered final year and there came our killer - corona virus. The college life changed to online life and exams were written virtually, graduated virtually.
