It is always said that Title is very important for any write up. It is the first thing that move and influence readers. And here the title of Durjoy Dutta’s story is very intriguing and filled with a hope that someday, something has to be told.
In this world of complicated relationships, should love be such a difficult ride?
~ Blurb of the book
It is a story about two people who appear to be different in the begning but later their lives tangle beautifully together with onset of plot. Anusha Sardana and Ananth Khatri both work for ‘We Donate’, a fundraising organisation.
It is a light read with very simple language. Linguistics are not causing any interuption in smooth reading. The plot begins with protagonist Ananth, getting ready for his first day at work. The usual bickering connects the story to middle class parents, constantly worried about their son.
POV changed with every chapter in the novel. Whenever, I tried to connect with one character. The head hopping came in the way and left me confused. However, thanks to my stars that I didn’t left it in between. And the twist that came a while later kept me on the edge of my seat. Some of the readers stated that it was predictable but for me it was something I haven’t thought of. The pace of the plot was bit slow but writer effectively used time in the novel by revolving characters parallally and connecting them later with time.
The ending is left open for us to hope that with time, characters will get their happily ever after or leaving it as, “Some stories are complete when left incomplete.” In the process, both the characters changed each other and completed themselves.
Must read if you are romance lover and want to read something light and good. However, like some of the other romance novels it is not filled with cliches which is one thing I really liked about it.
