How Not To Get Offended Easily?

A major quality a person should have is ‘sportiveness’. It will help us throughout our life whatever might be the situation. The topic basically means, high-spirited fun; receiving others opinion or comments in simple way without getting offended.

People talk a lot. They pass comments on everything you do. Keep up your spirit, never take them personally. It could be in a teasing way which doesn't have any negative intentions or maybe with negative intentions like criticising. Accept everything spotively and know that it doesn't let your pride down. This nature of yours make people think that you are okay with their tease or some might even stop criticizing you as it reflects your ignorance.

When it comes to positive aspects, usually our friends tease us for each thing we do. Do you ever get offended by them? No we won't. That's because we know their mentality or intentions. But there are some people who become serious for every small talks. That doesn't impact in a positive manner.  When I mention criticism, take that too in a good way, there's nothing wrong in that. People have their perspectives which we cannot alter. It is totally ok to accept criticism.

Ofcourse our facial expressions says everything. But during these above situations, try to smile in the entire conversation. Gently nod your head with a pleasant face. Try not to show your disagreements through your expressions.

There are few ways to avoid getting offended:                                  1. Understand the situation of the speaker and yours.                        2. Smile gently and start counting numbers in your mind.        3. Accept your flaws or imperfections.                                      4. Add your words with the speaker's and try mocking yourself.                                                5. Do thumbs up.

Behaving in the above ways in any situation where you are targeted for common tease or criticism, reflects your personality. Sudden angriness or taking too personally distance you from the people around you. If you have any intentions of being extroverted or socialising with lots of people, try not to get offended by anyone's talk. Instead join them, laugh with them, add your points too, mock yourself for a while.

My friends tease me a lot. They does that for every small thing I do and that never affected me in any way. Actually this has helped me many times even when I receive actual critcis. I often smile for their words so that both get along very well.
