All of us like to enjoy a snack while watching television, browsing social media , video gaming or even doing nothing at all.

What can be better than a good old bag of potato chips ?

  • They are crispy , spicy and perfectly hit the spot.

BUT….. Did you know ???

  POTATO CHIPS CAUSE MORE WEIGHT GAIN THAN ANY OTHER FOOD

YES !!! it is true

Researchers discovered that amongst all snacks like ice creams , chocolates , chips , etc. Potato chips cause weight gain in a manner that no other snack does.

  • Despite of being so tasty and rich in flavour , these chips can ruin all your weight loss goals!

If you're thinking you do not overeat potato chips , let me tell you that only a few of these are enough to make you obese.

IT IS SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN THAT WHEN YOU START EATING POTATO CHIPS YOU WILL NOT EAT JUST  1 OR 2 YOU END UP EATING WHOLE PACK,

THE ADDICTIVE TASTE IS TO BE BLAMED HERE.

Next time when you need a snack amongst your tv shows or while gaming go for healthier alternatives,

Such as :

  • Fruits , dry fruits
  • milk shakes
  • fruit juices
  • popcorn
  • kale chips

                              and many more….

Doctors analyzed changes in diet and lifestyle habits of  people and concluded that :

  1. On average, participants gained nearly 17 pounds .
  2. For every 4 year food contributed to 4 pound gain in weight.
  3. Potato chips were the biggest dietary offender. .
  4. french fries were worse for the waist than boiled potatoes..

We may conclude that :

  • Weight problems are epidemic .
  • Many people struggle to limit weight gain without realizing what's causing it.
  • Most of the times it starts with a little  and ends up becoming an addiction.
  • People who have gained weight will always want you to avoid potato chips.
  • If you really like potato chips you can eat them rarely followed by a calorie burn execise , workout or even a walking session.
  • Gaining weight leads to various diseases and even leads to depression in some individuals.
  • Prevention is always better than cure.
  • Try to replace your potato chips with kale chips which have similar taste but are not as harmful as potato chips.
