Hello Dear Reader..
I am back with another yummy recipe. I am pretty sure that we all have tasted it in our life. This is an Indian recipe comes from roots of Gujrat. This is one of the most popular Gujrati recipe "Dhokla".
Dhokla is a light and heathy Indian snack. This is healthy because it is steamed not deep fried of shallow fried, and this recipe need no overnight preparation. I am personally a big fan of dhokla. Today I am sharing the Dhokla recipe with you all.

Lets get started with the required ingredients for our  Dhokla

Ingredients for Dhokla:

Method or Step involved in Dhokla

▪️Firstly take a large mixing bowl, now add dry ingredients Besan, salt, grated ginger, oil and turmeric powder. Mix these ingredients well.
▪️Now in 3/4 Cup water, add sugar and citric acid and mix well until sugar and citric acid dissolves into the water.

▪️Now mix 3/4 Cup water mixture into besan mix (prepared in first step) and stir it for 2-3 minutes avoid lumbs.
▪️Then add 1/4 Cup water mixture and stir it well. The batter will rise and turn frothy.
▪️Now take a tin and grease it with oil. Pour the batter into the greased tin. Steam for about 15-20 minutes or till cooked. That water should be boiling and cook it on high flame by covering the steamer with lid. Insert the toothpick/knife and check,  it is coming out clean means our dhokla is ready other vise cook it for 2-3 minutes more.
▪️In a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies. Let it splutter. Add water, sugar and salt. Cool it down completely.
▪️Pour the tadka over the prepared dhokla. Cut into pieces and serve.
