Hi everyone this blog is about something that in today's world is of utmost importance and most of us will be definitely using it in one form or the other. You all must be wondering what I am talking about. It is of course none other than our star word “Data”.

At this point, most will agree with me. This world of data might sometimes get intriguing and challenging to navigate. Analysis of the data in a proper method is of prime importance in today's world. Mastering this art is challenging and at times might get overwhelming.

Data analysis is primarily of two types - Qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis is often done basically for any interview, survey, or communication. Common points are mapped out and analysed.

Quantitative data analysis deals with numbers, graphs, charts and many other forms of visualization. This has led to the huge advent of data analysis tools and software.

Many tools like R programming, python, SAS, SQL, and a lot of others have picked up. Courses that have been able to give the training for performing needed data analysis have perked the interest of current students and industry professionals from all around the globe.

Data has these days become an integral part of our lives and often appears in any form. One should have an eye for it and be able to recognize what part would be important for it and what should be omitted.

It is also very important to first clean the data thoroughly and sort it out with diligence so that in the long run the job gets easier and simpler to perform.

The primary tool for the exchange of large sets of data is excel which is commonly used across the landscape. These days the representation of data has also greatly improved with the use of dashboards.

Some common type of data visualization include:

  • Chart
  • Table
  • Graphs
  • Infographics
  • Dashboard
  • Histogram
  • Pie chart

There is an end number of training and courses that are being conducted online and offline for learning data analysis. The common course platforms like Coursera, Udemy, EDx, and LinkedIn learning have a range of courses available if anyone is interested to learn.

This field has a great amount of untapped potential since the world of data is unique and very huge. People looking for career opportunities should research this and then decide accordingly.

Life without data is one without spices. We should be more vigilant and unleash the huge potential that it has to change life.
