Underweight Teenagers : Problems To Solution

Being underweight in your teenage years has been a problem for alot of students. I myself has gone through alot while my teenage years because I was underweight. Not only overweight people are victim of body shaming . People who are underweight are also victim of body shaming. This society has set some “IDEAL” body images for women and men . You need to know that it is okay to be slimmer or healthier than the ideal body type until and unless it's not affecting your health. 

PROBLEMS FACED BY UNDERWEIGHT TEENAGERS:

1.Bullying- This bullying can be both physically or online . As cyber bullying is a well known crime but there are not much big actions taken against it.

2. Hurtful comments- Under weight teenager face many hurtful comments some are just out of concern but some are said intentionally.

3. Eating disorder- Due to bullying and hurtful comments, they can adapt eating disorders. Which may also lead to many other diseases.

4. Low confidence- Having low confidence or insecurities is natural in such circumstances. This may lead to anxiety or depression.

WHAT TO DO?

This blog is made for teenagers so here are some techniques you can use to help yourself.

  1. Consult a doctor- it's important to consult a doctor as you may not know if it is affecting your health or not on your own. Going to a nutritionist may help as he/she can make a stable diet according to your situation.
  2. Excercise- you can search on YouTube or ask nutritionist for some good excercise and supplements. As the motive is not just to increase your weight but also to stay healthy.
  3. Surround yourself with positive energy- being positive and surrounding yourself with positivity is important as there maybe people who will try to discourage you but it's important for you to go on.
  4. Don't give up- never giving up energy is important. You have to face it and overcome it. You can do it.

At last this blog is to help you out not to discourage you . Don't get affected by lies you see on social media. You are beautiful in your own way there is no ideal type for a human . You can be whatever size, weight, length you want. What is important is your happiness. Stay happy and keep others happy.
