Hey there, Welcome to my another blog. My name is Vibhu and in today's blog I am presenting a very interesting topic before you that is “Happiness Vitamin”, Have you ever heard of it? I don't think so, so let's dive into it and understand what actually is this happiness vitamin?

Have you heard about “Vitamin-C”? It is also known as Ascorbic Acid & it is also the answer of our question. Yes, Vitamin-C is the “Happiness Vitamin”.

Have a look at this ; If you are injured due to an accident or you are severely sick or you are going through a tough time of sorrow and regrets? Don't worry because a group of scientists from Canada claimed that if a person continues taking Vitamin-C during any of the conditions mentioned above, then he/she may still feel the happiness to its best.

  • According to “Journal of Nutrition” this experiment was conducted on the patients of Jewis General Hospital, Montreal, Canada.
  • This experiment showed overwhelming positive results to the scientists.
  • This was repeated over and over again and the result was more or less “same” all the time : said one of the scientist.

How the experiment was done?

  1. During the experiment several groups of patients were given Vitamin-C & Vitamin-D separately during their treatment & they were continuously monitored for any possible changes in their behaviour, action or illness.
  2. It was observed that after some days those patients who were taking Vitamin-C were found to be more active, positive & almost cured as compared to those who were supportedon Vitamin-D treatment.

Other positive actions of Vit-C :

  • Vitamin-C/Ascorbic Acid also helps in strengthening of body's immune system & helps us to fight against diseases.
  • It also protect cells of our body and keep them healthy & young.
  • It's presence in body also maintains healthy skin, blood vessels, bones & cartilages.
  • Helps in wound healing.

Sources of Vitamin-C :

Citrus fruits such as oranges and orange juice, Peppers, Strawberries, Black currants, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts & Potatoes.

Remember : Indian Gooseberry (Amla) is one of the richest source of Vitamin-C & widely eaten in Indian houses.

That's all for today, I hope this fact must have fascinated you & made you wonder about more such facts.

Comment your views on this & also like this post and share to others.

Now I will see you soon in my next blog post on another interesting topic.

Thank You.
