Biryani is known for its rich taste and variety of regional styles. Regarding its halal status, it depends on the ingredients used. If the meat is sourced and prepared according to Islamic dietary laws, and the other ingredients are halal, then the biryani as a whole would be considered halal.

Preparation:
Marinated vegetables for biryani
Now take a bowl and add 1 cup of curd,2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste,½ tsp turmeric,2 tsp oil,1 tsp chili powder,1tsp coriander powder,2 tsp garam masala powder, and can also add chicken masala powder if needed (option)and salt as per taste
mix well and add all the cut vegetables in it again mix them well
Make sure everything is well mixed. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
How to make biryani base:
Now, heat 2 tbsp ghee and 2 tbsp oil in a large kadai. and add star and cloves and a stick of Cinnamon
Add 1 onion and fry until the onions turn golden brown.
Further, add the prepared marination mixture and mix well.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are almost cooked. Set aside.
How to cook rice for biryani:
Now cook the rice, wash it, and soak 2 cups of basmati rice for 30 minutes.
Now take enough water in a big vessel.
Add mixed spices, 3 chilies, 2 tbsp coriander, 2 tbsp salt, 2 tsp lemon juice, and 1 tsp ghee.
Boil for 5 minutes or until the water becomes flavorful.
Now add the soaked basmati rice and mix gently.
Boil for 5 minutes or until the rice is 80% cooked.
Further, drain the rice and the rice is ready to be added to the biryani.
Layer Dum Biryani:
First, spread the biryani gravy base on a kadai. Top with fried onion, coriander and mint.
Top with more cooked rice and level evenly.
Top with fried onion, coriander and mint.
Pour ½ cup saffron milk, 1 tsp biryani masala, and 2 tsp ghee.
Cover and seal using aluminum foil.
Simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is well cooked. Let the Veg Dum Biryani rest for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Finally, enjoy the Veg Dum Biryani with Salan and Raita.
Raita preparation :
take a 2 cups of curd and add taste of slat and cutted green chilli and long sliced onions and add coriander and mint to it and can also add grated carrot
