1. The Shining (1980) The renowned film version of Stephen King's book The Shining is a true masterpiece. It depicts Jack as he takes his family to a spooky mansion to attempt and cure his writer's block, but he ultimately spirals into madness. The Grady Twins, who are standing at the end of the corridor, are the subject of the movie's most memorable shot. :>

2. The Babadook (2014) A widowed woman and her kid battle a terrifying monster that is haunting them after discovering the frightening children's book Mister Babadook in their home. The film employs genuine psychological terror that makes viewers consider how loss manifests in their own lives. ( ◉◞౪◟◉)

3.  Psycho (1960) A must-watch for horror fans which became the inspiration for the murderous scene in the shower. A young woman steals some cash, checks into a motel, and meets the proprietor before fleeing. Her sister and boyfriend are left to search for her after she vanishes. You'll be keeping your lights on at night after this one since the plot-twist ending never gets old. >:)

4.  A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) The infamous Freddy Krueger villain was born here. The razor-clawed Krueger stalks and hunts a group of youngsters in their nightmares; if they perish there, they perish in reality as well. Are you certain you want to get some sleep? :D

5.  The Exorcist (1973) The best horror film in many generations was said to be this one. A priest who receives a mother's request for assistance after a girl is possessed by a demon begins to doubt his religion. Interesting fact: Some people believe that the movie is cursed, so watch it if you dare! (° ͜ʖ°)

6.  Midsommar (2019) A couple visits a charming Swedish midsummer celebration only to learn that it is actually a terrible and violent pagan cult. Definitely terrifying and will have you glued to your screen. TW: graphic content ahead!!〈〝◉◞౪◟◉〉

7.  REC (2007) A television reporter and her cameraman portray rescue personnel and residents trapped in an apartment complex where a strange disease is spreading in this Spanish horror movie. The infection makes the locals violent and insane. As the reporters struggle to survive while reporting on the murders, the found footage movie feels all too real. ;)

8.  𝑴3𝑮𝑨𝑵 (𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐) A living example of artificial intelligence, M3GAN is a lifelike doll that has been designed to be both a parent's and child's best friend. When Gemma, a genius roboticist who created M3GAN, is unexpectedly entrusted with her 8-year-old niece, she chooses to give the youngster an M3GAN prototype, which has unforeseeable effects.
