GIRL: Mom I want to sleep half an hour more, I studied past 2:00 last night.
MOTHER: That wont be an option for you, when you get married. Start, practicing from now. I do not want to listen taunts from your in-laws that I spoiled you.
BOY: Mom, I want to sleep half an hour more today, I studied past 2:00 last night.
MOTHER: Sure, Child you can sleep as long as you want to.
These are some very normal conversations in households. Not blaming the other gender, most concerning is that Mothers, grandmothers, aunties are doing this to their daughters, nieces and granddaughters.
I just fail to get the answers of WHY?? If you have any please do let me know in the comment section.
Some say that it is only the making of today's generation but, Females are considered as sub-gender since ages now, And when they want to make their own paths, own living, own journey most people around them starts judging them, as if its a crime to think about our own happiness.
Just give a thought don't you think that in these days women are playing Superhuman roles, managing jobs, kids, in-laws, their own mother and father, even in some cases siblings too, households. Don't you think this is a Superhuman behavior?
Can you think of the consequences of this Superhuman behavior.
Let's just make a habit to look around and have a hard thought about what have We done to improve the life of the other gender around us? Are we still falling into same patriarchal patterns our last generation was into? Are we uplifting the females around us or are we still using them to do our menial jobs so, that we can grow professionally, mentally an physically or are we just lazy to think about others rather then us?
GATHER UP SOME COURAGE AND ANSWER?
Nobody, is asking much, just stop judging, give your daughters, nieces, daughter in-laws cheerful, non judgmental atmosphere to grow. To pursue their journeys with less stress. So, at the end all they have a army of happy family, friends and acquaintances not the regrets of loosing people or loosing themselves in the ride.
