Hey guys, today i m going to talk about self defense for women. Firstly, what is self defense?

 Self-defense is the force used to protect yourself or your property. self- defense for women or girls sounds scary but it is the demand of the time, either you or him. It means protecting self by possible attack and assault, doing nothing is basically giving up.

Self-defense involves defending the health and well-being of oneself from harm. we don't even call it violence when it's self-defense, we call it intelligence. 

Everyday in our daily life on social media it seems, we are hearing about women being victimized. when we think about self-defense, we rarely thinking of women defending herself. There are many cases in which women or girl are abused, sexually assaulted and many more incidents which i can't even think. So self-defense is musf for women. All should learn to protect herself not only because of these cases. I would like to talk about few reasons why women should learn self-defense:

1. First and the major reason is to protect themselves and their families. According to me, it is the most important reason for women to learn self-defense. while men are taught as the stronger sex, jujitsu a small man's sport. Then it should be a sport for women too so that this provides an edge to them in self-defense.
2. Self-defense builds confidence in women. Growing up, i had a low self-confidence and self worth. Playing sports as a child, a girl can't get that much confidence. Martial arts could gave them a confidence that no one could question them or take away. The great thing bout self-defense that everyone could get benefit from it. It does not descrimimate against sex, age, physical ability or societal stigma. so we should show some interest to women's self-defense classes. we could build descipline as well as garner more knowledge in self-defense. It calls greatness out of a women.
3. Self-defense teaches women descipline and that descipline tranfers over to all other areas of their lives. It could taught to be calm, control breathing and respond instead of reacting to a situation. It generally taught proper body control and understanding. It gaves overall strength, flexibility and awareness. Self-defense also taught to be a better student by listening, observing and learning about the art. It could taught a person to be patience, diligent and even take failures as a sign of growth instead abject defeat.              So self-defense is very important for a women for their safety as well as for their well-being. It could help to learn new experiences.
