Hey guys, i welcome you all to my daily blogs. I hope you all are doing great and living a heathy life.

As you know today is the seventh day of navratri and Maa Kaalratri is worshipped on the seventh day of navratri. kaal refers to time and death whereas ratri means night or darkness or ignorance.

Maa Kaalratri is the one who brings the death of darkness or who finishes up the ignorance. she is also commonly known as  Kaali. Maa kaalratri is the most frightening form of Maa durga. Her complexion is dark like a night and has untied bountiful hairs and she has four hands and also has three eyes which makes her more frighten. a flame came out of her mouth when she breathes. Her necklace shines like Moon shines in the night.

She is also known as shubhankari as she always brings auspicious news to her bhakhts. Maa kalratri is known to defeat ghosts and evil spirits.

Here we go with the story of Maa kalratri, once there were two very powerful and dangerous demons. those demon's brother was killed by the god of heaven lord indra . due to this incident they were in so much anger and  soon they attacked on the gods and they manage to defeat them with the help of three more demons who were more powerful than them.

After this happening, Indra and other gods of heaven went to Maa parvati to help them. she created a goddess Chandi to help them. She killed the both the demons. But she was unable to kill those three demons who helped both of them as they were very powerful. So goddess chandi created another goddess from her forehead, who came to be known as Maa kaalratri.

Maa kaalratri fought with two demons and finally killed both of them. hence, she is also known as Chamunda. After this, Goddess chandi and maa kaalratri both fought with the last third demon as he was the most Powerful devil. As he posseses a special boon that if any drop of his blood fell to the ground then another demon like him will be created.

After looking at this, Maa kaalratri became furious and started drinking the blood of every clone of that demon. this prevented his blood from falling to the ground and eventually he was killed by Maa kaalratri and brought back the peace.

Therefore, it was believed that Maa kaalratri blesses her devotees and also protect them from all the evil. she destroys all the darkness and bring peace.

I hope you enjoyed it….

Thankyou
