Today I have chosen a topic which is super hyped this days which is ANXIETY. Everyone is blabbering about it.But do you really know what is it? or what really happens when someone has anxiety disorder. Lets understand what is it and what are the ways to stay away from it or even deal with it.
What is ANXIETY?
Anxiety is an emotion of fear which helps to be aware of any mishappening or any sense of risk in future. It is normal to feel anxious or stressed at the time of danger or at certain situation. But once you are out of that situation or out of risk this feeling should go away but sometime it does not happen to some people ,the anxiousness stays with them and start affecting their mental peace and even disturbs their normal lifestyle.
Symptoms of ANXIETY.
Anxiety shows different symptoms on different individuals .One can experience headache or loss of breathe (experiences difficulty in breathing) . One can start feeling dizzy, may have chest pain ,and there are various different symptoms which might be seen but the most dangerous is one can have suicidal thoughts and can even attempt suicide.
How to deal with Anxiety?
There are various things you can implement in your life to stay away from this condition.
Ask yourself questions
Anxiety is an emotion worried for your future.If you feel so anxious at a point .Start telling yourself to focus on your present state rather than thinking about future possibility which may not even take place.Ask yourself few questions such as, โ are you safe at this place?, Is there anything to be worrying about ? Is it in your control to change things in future ? "this questions will surely help your thoughts to calm down even a bit .
Deep breathing
Deep breathing is an ultimate solution for any of your mental breakdowns. Whenever you feel like your mind is creating strange thoughts continuously and that is making you feel restless ,start deep breathing it will take few minutes to calm you down but will surely reduce the restlessness.
Keep yourself engaged in something that you love
Start looking for things which makes you feel calm.Some people find planting as a peaceful hobby while for some people colouring or making any art is therapeutic, find one for yourself too. There are lot of activities which you can explore like cooking, baking, drawing, exercising or even meditating .
Foods that helps to stay away from ANXIETY.
Stay hydrated. Dehydration can lead to manifesting negative thoughts and lead to restless or laziness.
Include complex carbs in your diet to keep your mood uplifted normally.
Increase the intake of Dairy products in your diet .It will provide you required amount of protein .
Reduce the amount of caffeine rich drinks like coffee or tea etc.
Try to stay away from Alcoholic beverages .
