Yes! You read it right; a man tries to go to the Bermuda triangle by a HYDRO-POD made on his own. So before talking about his journey to Bermuda lets us know some facts about this suspicious triangle. Bermuda triangle is the most mysterious place on the earth with lots of suspicious questions in it. It is a region of the North Atlantic Ocean (roughly) bounded by the southeastern coast of the U.S. Miami, Bermuda, and the islands of the Greater Antilles (Puerto Rico). Innumerable incidents have occurred in the Bermuda Triangle region. The most famous of those are USS Cyclops (1918), the Carroll A. Deering schooner (1919), Flight 19 (1945), Star Tiger and Star Ariel (1948 & 1949), Douglas DC-3 (1948), and KC-135 Stratotankers (1963). Researchers are trying to discover the reason behind these incidents and they came up with some theories as well. some theories reveal that this place contains large quantities of methane at the bottom of the deep sea, some sources claim that this region is one of the few places on earth where magnetic compass point towards the true north and is believed to be the predominant cause of the disasters happening in this triangle, however, no researcher is proven to discover the facts of disappearance of ships and airplanes in this region of the sea. The Bermuda triangle is often called as Devil's triangle. The number of ships and airplanes that disappeared in this area is said to be 50 and 20 respectively, whose detritus are yet to be recovered. Based on these incidents filmmakers produce thrilling movies as well, some of those highly rated movies are airport '77, triangle 2009, beyond the Bermuda triangle, and Satan's triangle, etc.
Born in 1972 in a small village in northern Iran. REZA BALUCHI an Iranian man well known as an activist and an athlete fabricated a hydro-pod to use it as a conveyance to go to the Bermuda triangle. His dream is to become the first man to run to every country and spread a message of peace around the world. He calls himself a captain of the bubble; in the year 2016, Reza became national media attention when he claimed his attempt to travel from Miami of Florida to Bermuda and then back to Miami through Puerto Rica in "Hydro Pod" bubble that he had fabricated on April 15. The route he is claiming to attempt is an exact map of the devils' triangle. The total trip would have been approximately 3000 miles. When he says to people about his goal in life, they laugh at him but he was very fanatic about what he wants to do. In one of his interviews, he says “ when I say, I am going to Bermuda in the bubble they laugh at me saying it's dangerous as everything disappears in that region, but I say, I want to know what is going on there”. Reza’s girlfriend Lynn tried to get him out of it but failed. He was very fanatic about what he wants to do. His first attempt was in 2014, he packed his food, lights, life jackets, GPS, and a laptop and set off the sail. when he lost his direction to Bermuda and contacted sector Miami for asking directions to Bermuda, Then he was rescued and warned not to attempt this again. Reza has spent 120k dollars on his journey to Bermuda and the rescue team spent 145k dollars to rescue him. These warnings never stopped Reza and he kept on trying it again on which he was given a cease and desist order by the captain of port Miami, US Coast Guard. He was warned that violation of the order may result in criminal penalties of up to 7 years confinement and a 40,000 dollar fine.
