Action Will Destroy Your Procrastination! Part 1

hey guys! today I am going give some useful tips to stop procrastination.

Procrastination is like a credit card; it's lot of fun until you get the bill.
                                                                                                - Christopher Parker

If you're a habitual procrastinator, you're well aware of the anguish and frustration that comes with putting things to the last minute. Even if you desire to perform or complete a task, you're probably having problems getting started! There are various ways that can help you stop procrastinating right now (so read quickly! ), as well as lifestyle modifications that can help you prevent procrastination in the future.

Spend 15 minutes on your most critical assignment.

Set a timer and start working! rather than worrying about how many hours you'll be working, simply get started. Tell yourself that you only have 15 minutes. This will alleviate the intimidation element, and you will most likely work for far longer than 15 minutes before stopping.

[1] If 15 minutes sounds too long, try doing something for 3 minutes.

[2] Take a two-minute rest once you come up for air. Then begin working on another set of 15 minutes.

Divide work into manageable parts.

Take things one step at a time to avoid being overwhelmed. It might be daunting to consider completing a complete essay or completing a week's worth of work. Instead of viewing everything you need to do as one large challenge, break it down into smaller chunks. You'll be able to begin with the smallest crumb and work your way up.

[1] For example, rather than telling yourself, "I need to finish this essay by 10 p.m. tonight," tell yourself, “I'm going to make a short outline, fill it in, and then look for quotes.”

[2] Think about attempting a strategy like pomodoro, in which breaks are scheduled at regular intervals.

[3] Avoid developing a large, jumbled to-do list. This is simply setting yourself up to fail. Create subcategories such as "Home," "Work," "Family," and "Fun" instead, and attempt to check off a few items from each list every day.

Begin your day with the most difficult duties.

Make a strategy for the day and priorities the most difficult job first. You'll feel the most energized in the morning after you've had breakfast and fully awakened. Take on the most difficult task on your list straight away. You'll feel better after it's through, and you'll be able to move on to some simpler duties for the remainder of the day.

[1] Determine when you are the most motivated and awake, and schedule your day accordingly. For example, if you're a morning person, perform your most difficult task first thing in the morning. On the other side, if you are drowsy in the morning, you run the danger of making stupid mistakes or being frustrated by going headfirst into a difficult task.
