I would want to appologize at the start itself if you have choose this blog to read about personal relationship advices.
Well here in this blog I will be mostly covering about the relationships we keep with our clients or customers or our mentors or with those people whom we come across for some reasons or the other.
This formula of creating a network of people around you is known as “Networking”. In educational course term we call it PR or "Public Relationship". As soon as we talk about a course we visualize a class, a professor teaching us from a book and so on.
But we dont realize this that Public relations or networking is being taught to us from childhood by our parents and trust me no one can do better networking than our parents and grandparents.
Seems difficult to gulp it right?
Just rewind back and find out those scenes when you are visiting your relative's place maybe for an occasion or maybe for a normal visit. You must have definetly observed your parents buying a pack of sweets or Namkeen before reaching their place. Why?
It is a way of building relationships. It is not about only getting a pack of sweets or namkeen but it is all about creating a bond and maintaining it. More than the gift it is about your presence which makes them happy.
Let me tell you another incident. Its your friend's birthday.
Before leaving your house you decided that you will get something for him as a present. You bought it and gave it to him. Ofcourse he will be pleased but more than that he will be happy to have you on his special day.
Creating your presence, Being there when they need you,
Helping out with whatever you can and most importantly building trust are the important steps in building a good network or relationships.
Please never value your relationships based on how much business you are making with them. If so then all those “Good morning messages” or “Gifting” or any such approach you have made till date to create a bond will never stay stable for long.
Let me give you an example. I am working in a Waste Management Company in Kolkata, The name is Waste Wheel Pvt.Ltd.
We provide door to door dry waste pickup service in Kolkata and also trying to create a transparent ecosystem in the Waste Management sector.
There is a client to whom we where providing our services for sometime. But due to some issues he decided to give away his dry waste to someone else. Now this came as a shock to us as he is from our first batch of clients but we need to consider the risk as well. But amist all such events we never stopped talking or connecting with him. We still used to be the same we were before when he was using our service and ofcourse baato baato mein we used to tell him about our improvements and benefits he would get. But never gave up on our relationship and do you know the outcome?
He is back with us Again.. Yaaaayyy..
This is the power of relationships and networking. It is like Google in the web surfing world where sitting at home you can connect to anyone in any corner of the world. Networking not only makes you confident but also works as a support system for any future developments you want to make.
Let wind up the content with this quote “ Businesses ayegi jayegi magar ye relationships rehna chahiye”
"Networking" will eventually and surely create your “Networth”
Hope you found this content Helpfull. Thank you for your time.
