Teddy, let's go to the moon today. I still can't believe we're here on the moon; it's like a dream come true. Ever since I was a child, I've been in love with the moon. My grandma, told me many moon stories that have influenced me greatly and made me love the moon unconditionally. Even today, mothers tell their children the same moon stories, and children see the moon as a toy, while lovers see it as a symbol of love. It attracts us through its innocent love. However, there are times when it doesn't come out, like on a rainy day when it's hidden behind a cloud. On such days, I wait for her to come out, but she's unable to move because the cloud acts as a barrier to our love. But every day, I chat with her and share my feelings, and she listens without judgment or unwanted advice. She always smiles and radiates positive vibes that make me love her even more. She knows all my secrets and keeps them safe, never telling anyone. She always follows me wherever I go, which makes me happy.
One day, I realized that she had problems like human beings, so she was unable to come out. I wished I could be Spiderman so that I could fly and protect my angel Moon, bringing her back to my home. But I knew I couldn't. That night, I took a drawing sheet and colored pencils to draw my moon. Even on paper, she looks like an angel to me. I see her without blinking my eyes. But the next day, I had to go to school. My mom woke me up, bathed me, and fed me dosa for breakfast. My dad helped me arrange my books in my bag. But my mind was thinking about her in every way. My brother picked me up for school and asked why I looked so sad. I explained that I hadn't seen the moon, and he teased me. I playfully hit him. He promised to take me to see a supermoon that evening. I said goodbye to him and entered my class. The hours passed slowly, and I waited for the bell to ring. Once it did, I left school and went home. My dad picked me up, and on the way, I was excited about seeing the supermoon. We finally reached home, and my brother was waiting for me. We went to the district “science centre” to see the supermoon. The telescope was ready, and one by one, we saw the supermoon. It was bigger and brighter than normal, and I was so excited to see my angel. However, the telescope changed direction, and the technician had to work hard to fit it in the right direction. After waiting for some time, my brother said he had to go, but he promised to take me to see the supermoon on the next occasion. We left, and just as we were leaving, the children's voices roared. The telescope finally fit in the right direction, and I asked my brother to go and see. He did, and then I watched the supermoon through the telescope. Teddy, this is one of my fondest childhood memories. You see how much I love my moon!
