Monaco a “Toy Kingdom”, which was written by “Leo Tolstoy".

This is a Funny little satirical Tale,  Which is interesting as well as Funny, I hope you all would like and enjoy by reading the story…

                  ….. SO  LET'S  GET  INTO THE  STORY…..

Monaco is a tiny kingdom with a small population.  In this kingdom there lived a king with minsters, army, horses,.. etc,. like all other countries had.

The king has levied taxes on Tobacco, Alcohol  and Poll in addition he aslo levied tax on Gambling  where people play, roulette and rather the king also got a lots of profit.  In Gaming house even if a person loses or wins he must pay a percentage to the owner of the gaming house,  insted the owner of the Gaming house had to pay a large amount as tax to the king.

The king of Monaco got a decent revenue stream to keep his Minsters, Countries, and Officials alive.

A man would go and try his luck and all his money. Then he would gamble money which did not belong to him and lose it too. As Gambling harmed the people of Europe,  so it was forbidden in all the countries of Europe,  but except in kingdom Monaco.

Monaco is the only kingdom which had Gambling, so all the people of Europe who were interested in Gambling used to go Monaco.

Once in Monaco,  a man committed a murder,  which never happened before . So meeting was called up in the Kingdom of the king's palace.  The lawyers and judges both gathered,  a death sentence was given to the murder.  So the trial was done . But now , the real problem began.  Till the time the murderer was sentenced to death, the king had never dealed with such type of issues. 

Monaco had neither a guillotine nor an executioner, so they asked for the French government. French government had agreed to send the requirements for the sum of the 16,000 France.  That would require to impose more tax on people.  So the king asked the king of Italy for help,  who agreed to provide the requirements at a cost of 12,000 France.As the king didn' have such large amount , the death penalty was changed to life time imprisonment because the king could not bear the expenses. 

However, finally life imprisonment was given to the murder.  But there had to be a guard to watch the criminal and give him food. To care for the prisoner the  expense  came to be 600 France. So the king had decided to dismiss the guard so that the prisoner would escape,  but surprisingly the prisoner did not escape the prison.  Then later the king decided to pay 600 France as an annual pension to the prisoner and then the prisoner had left the domains of the king.

Then the murderer had left to another city and started to do Agriculture for his daily living and also he got 600 France annually from the king of Monaco.
