Oh my dog is Tamil film that is also available in Telugu. Arun vijay and his son Arnav vijay play pivotal roles. Produced by Jyotika and Surya. The fact that this film depicts three generation of the vijaykumar family is a major selling point. Vijaykumar himself plays the grandfather ; Arun vijay also appears in this film as his son and finally, Arun vijay's son, Arnav (who plays Arjun),makes his acting deput. As usual seasoned Vijaykumar and earnest Arun vijay perform admirably. The entire 'wolverine' stunt sequence and how it is justified in this picture was extremely enjoyable to me.

STORY

Fernando( Vinay Rai) is a wealthy bussiness man who owns only the finest dog breeds. His life goal is to win the World Dog Agility Championship for the sixth time in a row to equal the world record, which he achieves by abusing and torturing his dog. When one of his Siberian Husky puppies is born blind. He orders his minions to kill it because people or canine with disabilities, in his opinion, are unfit to survival. The blind pup (Simba) manages to eludes the goons, and   Arjun(Arnav vijay) finds and saves it in a marsh. Despite his parents intial refusal to keep the puppy in the house, it eventually earns there love and becomes their pet. The rest of the story revolves around Arjun's treatment of Simba's visual impairment and his participation in the world Dog Agility Championship.

ENTERTAINMENT PART

When little arjun and his friends are compelled to fund two lakhs for Simba's surgery, it results in some harmless humour that demonstrates that children are nice and generous in ways that adults cannot comprehend. The entire segment is set to Nivas Prasanna's upbeat music.

Oh My Dog, a film that dumps down a lot of things,masterfully eplores the simple plot of a dog's bond with its master. With a child at the core of the story, filmmaker Sarov has a lot of latitude to go a overboard in terms of storytelling, yet it never feels forced.

Arnav vijay makes a strong first impression and his sequences with Simba are among the best in the film. The sequences with Simba and the youngsters have a lot of innocence to them, which only helps the film. Oh my dog, which presently available on  Amazon Prime, is a film that appeals to both children and adults with its message of never giving up.

Overall Oh my dog is a straight forward drama with asolid premise and a strong start. And the film that makes you happy (feel good film).
