Well, most of us are always attached and attracted towards love stories. And if they are put in front of you in very simple and uncomplicated manner then it keeps us engaged and entertained till the end.

I too had a love story is one of such book written by an Indian author Ravinder Singh.This book is a simple yet capturing story of Ravin and Khushi.

It has a tragic end, that is why there is the past tense of the title. It is the love story of Ravin and Khushi. The boy and a girl who met over internet, fell in love with each other, met each other for the first time in person, got engaged and started planning for wedding. This is how the author tells how he met the girl of his dreams and how their love bloomed. But, things doesn't happen as he had thought, as destiny had other plans for them. More often than not, life has plans of its own for us which could be or could not be same with what our plans for life

Author wrote the story with utmost care and convention. It has love, passion, friendship, heartbreak. A life of two people on their journey of love though never reached to destiny

Giving out more about the story would do injustice to the readers. What catches your attention in this book, is the simplicity the honesty with which the author has put together his emotions as this book is based on his own love story. It is indeed a touching love story and it did struck a chord in my heart.

I must inform you that if you are looking for a literary piece then this is not a book you should be reading. What catches your attention in this book, is the simplicity of the book and the honesty with which the author has written it.

You can understand this book better if you've loved someone truly. Even otherwise, it was a good read, a little emotional in the end. Simple, neat, yet sad.

It is the kind of book I would prefer when I am in a mood for a light read.

I would give it 4/5 stars.

Anyone who is looking to start reading English novel and want to start with something light and without any heavy language, then this Indian author book is just right for you.
