Hi friends, thank you for all the support in previous blogs, I am back with another content which happened in my real life. Yes, it was about a short film. It was the time just social media platforms were blooming in India. May be in other countries it was already prevalent during those days. We were working in an MNC and our gang was very much interested in meeting on weekends and play games or do some extra curricular activities. 

So, I too thought, we can do the same. There was one person, who was having a DSLR camera, so obviously we wanted to make him the director of the film, he is very good at acting too, so we thought of making him the actor and director. I told him that I will take up the role of dialogue or lyric writing as I am very much interested on it. Everyone agreed and the lead characters were too our gang only. We thought of spending zero budget on the film, as no one was interested to spend money.

We just thought that after the successful completion of the short film, we can treat ourselves in good hotel. So, we decided to fix the office campus as the spot for shooting as the places are very comfortable for the shoot and zero budget, since all the crew are from the same office. The director got permission from the officials of the office to take the shooting. As none of us had any experience in acting, we went on to take several retakes in the shoot.

The memory was getting full. we were not allowed to take personal laptops inside the office premises. we were just allowed to take camera after taking proper permission. After shooting again and again the memory got full, but the director was deleting those unwanted or not correct portions. But, it did not work out, after sometime, the battery of the camera went down. Unfortunately, we did not bring the charger of the Camera. So, we had to leave the campus, the first attempt of the short film became failure, due to the improper planning and most of the actors in the short film, felt that the script is very weak, I convinced them, if it is weak or not good, it is just a try, we are not professionals anyway, but we had to drop the short film.
