Once upon a time, a very popular art gallery declared a contest in which they announced that the painter of the world's most peaceful painting will be honored with ten million dollars. This news spread all over the world. And the painters all over the world participate and send them paintings they made. In thousands of paintings judges select 100 paintings in short list. And they programed an exhibition of that 100 paintings.

           In that exhibition they invited the painters as well as media and local people. Thousands of crowd were sitting on the chairs to see the winner because the amount was very big. They all were curious to see that painting. How the painting will looks like by which the painter is going win that much amount. Each and every painting was worth seeing and peaceful.

            There were some paintings where the most of crowds came to see. In which one painting was of a peaceful lake, mountains all around reflecting in that lake, sun was rising behind that mountains. Another painting was of a flowing river, moon staring from sky reflecting on river, mountains covered with snow. There were such a beautiful and peaceful paintings. By seeing that paintings our mind's relax mode get on automatically.

              It became tough to take decision because every painting was more beautiful than another. To declare which one is best among them was really very difficult. But that moment came where they set their mind to declare the best painting among them. Judges select one painting from them and put it behind a big curtain. Painters, media and thousand of people were curiously waiting, when the curtain will be taken off and when they will see the painting.

            That moment came, curtain took off, media on their cameras. But when they saw that painting, everyone shocked and started to look each other's face, started murmuring that judges have done any mistake, because that painting was not depicting peace. Painters went to the art gallery's owner and asked, “is there any mistake happen?” The owner smiled and replied “no! there is no mistake, that is the winning painting”. After listening the answer, all painters became angry.

                After seeing that, media went to the art gallery's owner with their camera and mike. Art gallery's owner again smiled and said “that before asking me anything first see that painting properly and closely because you saw that there is storm, thunder, black clouds everywhere and atmosphere is so bad and dangerous, everything is ruined. But you didn't saw that there is a house and a man is seeing the atmosphere from  small window in that house and still has a smile on his face instead of fear and worry. That is real peace”

               This story is just a gentle reminder that you will only feel peace if your mind is in peace and relaxed. If your mind is in fear and you are drown in an ocean of worries then you will live your life with stress even if you are at the most peaceful place. And your mind is relaxed and in peace then a bad atmosphere is nothing to disturb your mental peace.
