PART [ I ]
Hey there hope you are doing well . You probably do not know about me , to know my name just move your sight a little upwards , on the title bar. So now you know my name , without any senseless talk I will try to recall and write every moment that I had in my university hostel, during my graduation. And at the end You will be able to figure out the why I compared my hostel with a Prison .
I got into university hostel due to certain reasons ,which I have listed down below :
It was before I actually visited the hostel . The day I filled the form for it, the warden looked up , right into my eyes, and asked this very bizarre question : ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SURVIVE HERE ? TELL ME YOU WON'T ASK TO LEAVE THIS HOSTEL , BECAUSE WE WOULD NOT REFUND YOUR FEES ?
I confidently replied : No Mam , that won't happen, I will try my best to cope with the environment here. Please let me live here . (Because it was very difficult to get into the university hostel more than the university itself, how funny is that ?)
Finally, I got the hostel . I was happy then.
Next day I called my cousin to help me to bring all the required things to the hostel like mattress, quilt, buckets, utensils, books, etc ,etc. Because in the hostel we were provided with only a single bed , table, chair, almirah and nothing else. I arranged all these things. At the entrance they did not even let my cousin come with me.We requested them a lot , but they did not even want to listen to us. I managed anyhow. I don't know how many rounds I made from the entrance to Floor 2nd to get all the stuff to my room , by stairs . I was almost dead by the last round. After a nap of an hour, My friend from the hostel came to help me with arranging the stuff. While helping me with the stuff , she told me that "the warden's office is so close to your room , this might create trouble for you,be wise" . I was terrified at that moment . She suggested me another room and I accepted her offer. I requested the warden to let me change my room. With her permission, I switched to a room close to my friend's room , far from the warden's vicinity.
Then started the actual hostel life , which just shook me from head to bottom and gave me a shiver in my spine, as I slowly started learning about the hostel rules and regulations , their life.
Well, Thanks for reading this. I will write part II soon. Stay tuned.
