Nepotism means using your power or influence to give unfair advantage to your family, especially by giving them jobs. Umm using our power for our family, is it right or wrong? Securing our families future, whatever you have providing it to them is it nepotism?
Well you get what you do, but what if whatever you do, you have a background which will hide all your mistakes. Not everyone is so privileged to be born with everything, who don’t have to struggle to achieve a stage, not everyone are born with silver spoon in their mouth. But those who are born is it right to curse them as they are born with everything, or they get opportunities more easily as compared to commoners?
Well in my opinion NO. You don’t choose where you will be born. What you choose is whether you wiil work hard to get opportunities or use your godfathers. We all are well aware of the cases of the nepotism which comes across our our daily lives. As in film industry a singers child becomes a singer, an actors child an actor, directors child director, very rarely does someone changes their paths. But it is an obvious reason that a child wants to be like their parents they tend to be like someone in their family.
Parents support is also sometimes referred to as nepotism but if seen carefully each parent supports their child what is more focused is the success of parents used as an opportunity for the child to enter a certain place. Every parent wishes that their child should get the success and not the struggles they had to face. Every parent tries their level best to give everything to their child what they have whether it is their property, knowledge, skills etc. No one chooses someone else child over their. Would you pass your belongings to someone else?
Instead of calling out someone a nepotism product especially in film industry we should think twice that we were the ones who choose them over others. Sometimes are criteria of choosing someone is based on what advantage we can get from them. Would you choose a person who will provide you everything or the one who can’t. Having a political support as your back helps you a lot, we all know that. Many times it has been seen someone getting direct entry in an interview or in job seat where other people try hard to get that seat. This is truly wrong having a support and getting what is deserved by someone else. Before taking someone’s seat we need to think how would we feel if it ever happened to us if we were in that situation. We need to try our best for getting something, we need to select someone on the basis of their talent, their knowledge not on the basis of their support. We are the ones who can change the world what we need to do is to stop anything wrong that happens in front of us, we shouldn’t support any kind of support someone using or ourselves too should use it.
