Education is not the filling of Paul, but the lighting of a fire. Education is not only about learning something new, it is also about how you use what you learn for the good of others. You should always use knowledge that you acquire and treasure it . A P.J Abdul kalam was born in the temple town if Rameshwaram in INDIA.Abdual kalam father was a boat owner. He lent his boats to fisherman. As a school boy Abdul kalam sold newspaper to make the extra money needed for his studies. He was in school when India became independent in the year 1947. Inspired by his school teacher and father, Abdul kalam understood that sheer hard work determination and honesty along can bring success in life. It required hard work to go on foot to distribute the newspaper in the bylines of dusty Rameshwaram. Abdul kalam learnt the value of time by doing this work. He also understood that everyone waits for the morning paper to reach on time. His determination stood by him to earn money to pay fees for schooling so that his father was less burdened and ofcourse it was an honest way too. This determination towards education made him a scientist. Abdul kalam was known as the Missile man and was awarded the title of Bharat Ratna. He was the first scientist to become the President of India. Abdul Kalam stood for compassion love and a high sense of duty. He emphasized that ine should make use of one's sharp intelligence and creativity to make dreams come true and the leaders of the country should be role models for other. Abdul kalam was very fond of children. He always said that future of a nation depends on its bright young mind. He met children from all over the country in Rastrapati Bhavan. He is one of the few presidents who replied to every letter he recived.                                  If You want to be happy, practise compassion. There teaching of the Dalai Lama clearly tell us that a true human being is filled with compassion. Showing compassion to others is also the best way to show how much one loves god. When one person helps another, both, the person giving help and the person receiving it are happy . Chang's family followed Buddhism.
