So today's blog is about ‘How to Deal With Sad Memories?’ We all have some incidents in our life thinking of which we feel sad😒 or even tears starts rolling down our face😭 literally taking us back to that difficult phase of life.Here are some tips you can follow to cope with that sudden burst of emotion.
1.TALK WITH YOURSELF JUST LIKE HOW YOU WOULD TALK WITH YOUR FRIEND GOING THROUGH HARD TIMES!
Y'all already know right? At the deepest point of all our sorrows..we are only left with ourselves.So constantly talk with yourself when you are falling back in time.YOU gotta tell YOU.. ITS FINE..YOU GOT THIS..I CAN OVERCOME THIS! cause you know every single word we speak has immense energy and power to heal someone & that can be you.
2.DON'T IGNORE YOUR EMOTIONS
When we are overwhelmed, most of us try to ignore or suppress our emotions.This will only do harm than any good to you.Addressing your emotions is the first way to tackle them.Just ask yourself, why are you having these thoughts? Is something triggering your mind? This will help you go to the root cause of these series of emotions and eliminate it from the root.
3.CONSULT A THERAPIST
MENTAL HEALTH IS VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE! We especially indians have never given enough importance to mental health.Mental health is equal OR sometimes more important than physical health..cause you know..Our mind can even cure illness that is impossible according to medical science or think about it like this; No medicine can save someone who has given up on himself.
SO THE MOMENT YOU FEEL YOU CANNOT HANDLE THIS EMOTIONS OR YOU NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO..CONSULT A THERAPIST. NOWADAYS THERAPY SESSIONS ARE EVEN HELD ONLINE. SO YOU DONT NEED ANYONE'S APPROVAL TO CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH.
4.ACCEPT YOUR EMOTIONS
Everything we have been through till this moment has made you what you are today. I personally have never forgotten the faces of people that hurt me😎..but i have forgiven them. You see..on days you lack motivation..or you feel like you cannot do this..REMEMBER THEIR FACES AND THOSE WORDS THAT BROKE YOU.BELIEVE ME YOU WILL GET A RUSH OF ADRENALINE TO GET YOU GOING AND NEVER GIVE UP!!💪
