My Favourite Protein Source!

Hi to all the egg lovers here. This is just appreciation blog to the food that is egg. And I feel sorry for the vegetarians out there who haven't even tasted the delicious egg even once in their life.

The age old question which came earlier the egg or the chicken. Well I am thankful to both in whichever way their decendence is.

To start with the usual the chicken egg weighs about 50 kg and gives a caloric value of about 700 kj. The protein and fat source are almost the same and amounts to about 12gms each. It contains very small amount of carbohydrates and contains allmost all the vitamins except vitamin c. The amount of protein in it makes it the best food for people doing gym , for weight loss, for building up muscles or just for normal healthy and tasty meal.

And what can we not make out of an egg, there are gazillion food recipes that can come out of egg like a simple boiled egg, or an evergreen breakfast recipe of Indian homes an omlette mixed with chopped onions, garlic and spices , my favourite is scrambled eggs and I make it in two ways. 

Making scrambled egg with butter and just black pepper and salt. Simple and delicious, perfect for breakfast and metro diet.

Making scrambled egg with onion, tomatoes, capsicum πŸ«‘ and mixed with spices and ready to be served with roti or rice for lunch or dinner.

Then there is poached eggs, sunny side egg, fluffy omlette or egg curry my mother's favourite egg dish or an egg sandwitch or egg roll or egg manchurian or egg fried rice 🍚 or egg chowmein , I mean just mix egg with anything and it will undoubtedly turn out to be the best.

And eggs are used almost as an important ingredient for cakes, fudge, or mayonnaise.

People all around the globe 🌎 have been using egg of different animals like chicken, duck πŸ¦† egg , quail egg, an ostrich egg ( the biggest). Some even eat fish eggs and it's apparently very tasty( I have never tried it) .

There are too much good with egg but also some not so good things like chances of contamination in storage area, it's high in fat and cholesterol and lecithin which is a significant cardiovascular risk. Some studies have shown that there is a connection  eating egg and developing type 2 diabetes and it's one of the most common food allergy in infants. P.s I have one when I have like 2-3 years of age but overtime I have come out of it and I don't have any know existing egg allergies ( thanks to god).
