“Music is an important part of our physical and emotional well-being, ever since we are babies in our mother's womb listening to her heartbeat and breathing rhythms.”You hear music every day-sometimes without even noticing-through commercials, on the radio, TV shows and more. Did you know music can improve your mood, help your memory and have an impact on your everyday activities? The human brain and nervous system are hard-wired to distinguish music from noise and to respond to rhythm and repetition, tones and tunes…..a varied group of studies suggests that music may enhance human health and performance".

MUSIC HELPS WITH HEALING

Any form of healing, whether emotional or physical, takes time, energy, and commitment. Our bodies and our emotions are inseparable, and incorporating a wide variety of therapeutic methods, including music, into our healing practices can have dramatic benefits. Listening to music that matches your mood can also be helpful in releasing emotional tension. If you want to keep your brain engaged throughout the aging process, listening to or playing music is a great tool. Research has shown that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. Music can also express your emotions without having you show them way to do it. music can also make you happy….. Music is powerful in many other ways that could take your feelings away. The important thing that the music takes your feelings when you are sad, nervous, or when tour happy and the music makes you more happy. We, as human beings, have something called a “Musical Memory”, and all of ours are pretty good. We are beginning to understand our own love of music not only as a cognitive reflex, but as a true art form. This view is called the “neuroaesthetics of Music”Music, because of its deep connections with the brain, is intrinsically meaningful to humanity as a a race. We thrive off it. It drives our actions and emotions, and its influence on our brains creates a sense of unity with music that few other art forms can provide.

IT CAN IMPROVE MEMORY

Music also has a positive effect on your ability to memorize. Researches gave people tasks that required them to read and then recall short list of words. Those who were listening to classical music out performed those who worked in silence or with white noise. Music memory is one of the brain functions most resistant to dementia. One of the most common uses of music? It helps people regulate their emotions. It has the power to change moods and help people process their feelings. “Your brain has a reaction when you like or don't like something, including music. we've been able to take some baby steps into seeing that, and ‘dislike’ looks different than ‘like’ and much different than ‘favorite.’” There are probably some features in music that make you feel a certain way, but it's your experience with it that is even more important.

“In some cases , you might not even like the particular song, but you like the memories or feelings that you associate with it.” Music can help you get healthier and work quicker. Simply by choosing the right music for your playlist, you will be making your exercise routines easier. There is a reason that places of work play music sometimes. When you are trying to grind through a work-out or finish the last few hours of a mundane work shift, music can help you get there.
