This is the second blog on my depression series of blogs. I discussed about my experience with depression in my previous blog. All blogs in this series are standalones, but I would suggest you to go through my first blog. In this blog we will dive deeper into your thoughts.
As I have stated before, depression is a disease of thoughts and so it becomes very important for one to keep track of what they think the entire day. Ask yourself what do you keep thinking about…
So, reading these templates I especially made to make this blog look a lot better, you would have gotten an idea as to what I am implying. It is scientifically proven that we keep on talking to ourselves throughout the day and even while we are asleep we keep on seeing our thoughts as dreams. Soon, we become what we think. If we keep on having disturbing and bad thoughts throughout the day, it will manifest within us.
Wanna hear a good news, we can control our thoughts. The question is how?
How can we control our thoughts?
The first thing I want you to do is – SCREAM TO YOURSELF I AM THE MOST INTELLIGENT PERSON ALIVE! Yes, and I expect you to cooperate with me. I have lived with a depressed brain so I know how it functions. Right now you would be thinking, “all this is useless. Why am I here anyway?”
Lemme assure you, being here is a lot better than being all by yourself in your isolation bubble. You aren't seeing me or I ain't in front of you. You are, literally, reading words. There is an exercise I figured out during that time that worked for me quite well. You basically, can't change your thoughts overnight. START EDITING THEM. Yes, you heard me right. Don't bring huge changes, just a little. For example:
Trust me the day you start trusting yourself your whole world is gonna change. You just need to take that one step towards yourself for yourself.
So, you have to stop surviving within yourself and start living!
I hope my blogs help you in whatever little way possible and you find a way to start living with yourself again.
If you like my blogs you can follow me and support me.
Rest when we meet again through my words on another blog about how you can get out of your isolation bubble.
Thank you, stay safe, healthy and most importantly happy.
Can I get a smile from you :)
Thank you, you just made your day!
