With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the most essential thing to look after is one's health. This pandemic has taught each individual that no amount of exterior beauty is worthwhile, and fancy clothes are just a few material wrapping over one's skin. The reality lies in immunity, it is your new beauty. An individual's mind prosperous and grows in a healthy body where one exercise regularly, drink plenty of water and eat the right amount of nutrition, everything else is surface glitters. One's strong immune system aids the body to grow and repair cells at a faster rate, as well as be protect the body to be prone to diseases. In a situation today that we have been facing as a world, it's not only scary but dreadful where one continually feels agitated for the lives of their friends and families. We as humans must take responsibility for supervising our own health and others around us. Strong immunity is the only tool each of us has to fight the virus.

Below are a few tips to boost your immune system:

  • Stay hydrated-

Drink water at regular intervals of the day, as it will reduce the chances of being prone to flu. Drinking up to 7-8 glasses of water per day helps maintain the body functionality and results in better immunity. 

  • Get enough sleep-

An average human should receive 7-8 hours of sleep. Lack of sleep cause irritable behaviour as well as anxiety, it also severely affects brain activity.

  • Exercise-

 Spend 30-60 minutes of your day engaging yourself in physical activity, this will assist your body functioning and flexibility. Daily exercise also results in a stress-free state of mind and allows the brain to function effectively. 

  • Destress yourself-

 One could try meditation, developing new hobbies and avoiding harmful substances such as alcohol, cigarettes and drug substances.

  • Improve your diet-

Importantly, monitoring what kind of food you intake and eating the right food could assist in gaining immunity. Intake of bona find amount of vitamin, minerals and proteins are essential for sustaining a healthy life style.

Immunity is your new beauty, a healthy mind inside your body is what matters the most, all the outward glam will fade away with time. Each one of us needs to understand the importance of a well functioning body and mind and aid all the efforts in making one’s mind and body a healthy one.
