The Best Travel Hacks To Follow
- Put your mobile in Flight mode / Battery saver when you are travelling for long hours. It saves a lot of battery. As we are using phones which drains battery very badly, also we use phones 24/7.
- Always carry a power bank if you are planning for a long trip, it comes handy a most of our lives are reliant on smartphones. Power bank is always useful when you are out of charge and you are at a place where you can't charge your phone.
- Carry your own water bottle.
- If you are travelling in train, don't keep all your money at one place, split it up in different locations. Thefts is very common in trains.
- During train travel, you get a lot of ideas. Keep a small notepad and pen to jot it down to work on those later.( I had this experience). Sitting on a window seat, listening music and having random thoughts is the best experience.
- Books are a great companion especially when you are travelling alone. And if you are travelling with family/friends don't use your mobile. Spend time with them. Never create disturbance for other passengers.
- Ahead of long drive, check on : Engine condition, wipers, headlights and tyre pressure.
- Keep some change in your front pocket/dashboard. No need to take out wallet all the time.
- Always keep snacks/chocolates in your car, it will help you out.
- If you are travelling in sleeper class in train never keep your shoes on the fan. Never do this because if you know how a fan works, it will pull all the dirt in your shoes and add it air which eventually you will breathe.
- When booking tickets for flights/trains online enable private browsing. Travel sites often track your visits and will rise the price simply because you've visited before.
- Put socks in shoes to save space.
- Never take a night bus because drivers are often tired.
- Avoid drinking water much if taking a long bus trip.
- Eating no meat is much safer.
- Have a small bag of nuts with you as emergency food.
- If you travel frequently, invest in lounge access. It doesn't matter that you don't need the lounge to pass time, you will need it when you need to change a flight.
- Relax! Travel is stressful. Anxiety and anger won't get you there any faster.
- Be nice to the airline staff. Be talkative. Be friendly. They will appreciate that you are trying to make their day better- if nothing else you will get good karma.
- Start early, drive slowly, reach safely!!!!
