Season of white snowfall, and shiny trees with glittery jingle bells, Christmas is coming soon. Children are eagerly waiting for the presents from Santa. From Child to old age person, everyone is looking for Christmas to come. Christmas is the festival of joy and happiness. It is the season of what you sow, you will reap. It is considered as a celebration of good and bad. 

In Western culture, it is a symbolic of good and bad. If a person does good deeds he will be rewarded, if he/she does bad then he will face the consequences of his/her doings. 

On this day every person is treated equally. This festival is regarded as a hope of the Christmas Spirit. People believe that if they start something new on this day it will bring success to them. Christmas is all about give and take. This is celebrated pompously across the world. On this day there is no comparison of rich and poor. All are treated equally before the Lord.

This is a story about a boy named Alex and his Christmas which I read when I was a kid.

Alex belongs to a poor family and he lives with his parents in the alley of the city. He was only 7 years old.  His parents work in a small factory. The wages are less and it only meets their ends sometimes. Since childhood, he listened to many stories about Christmas and Santa. He never got a single present in his life during Christmas.

One day he visited the main city center with his father and saw how people were celebrating and enjoying Christmas Eve. He also wants to celebrate like that. So, he asked his father that he also want a present on Christmas for which his father agreed. 

Two days later both his parents lost their jobs due to factory shutdown. They started living on their savings.

It was 24th December and the weather is so cold with heavy snowfall. A beggar who was weak, thin, and lean fainted in front of Alex's home. His parents saw the beggar fainted, and took him into the house. They give him food and shelter that night. 

That beggar woke up early in the morning, sow a few seeds in front of Alex's house, and left. Alex's parents woke up in the morning and were awestruck to see a huge tree in front of the house. They went to check the tree and found a note dig here. They digged the place before the trunk and found the treasure. In the treasure box it was written God tested you and you passed the test. Alex parents were happy and they lived happily for the rest of their lives.
