Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya had exclusive allegiance to the indigenous, self-language and dress of his country. He tried till the last moments of his life to make Hindi as the national language instead of foreign language English.
He was well versed in Hindi and Sanskrit as well as English language. Despite this, he always used Hindi only. Once Mahamana was invited to deliver a speech at a university convocation
He had already told that he would not give a speech in English by wearing a gown in the English method, but would come in his ancient costumes only, whereas the custom of giving convocation speech in English was the custom in those days.
As soon as Malaviyaji started speaking in Hindi, a student stood up and said, 'Sir, I do not understand your language. A speech should be given in English at the university itself. '
Malaviya ji smiled and said in English, "I can speak in English also, but I have pledged to promote Hindi, the public language of my country, it is my religion to follow it."

An inquisitive reached Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. He humbly said, "Baba, if someone asks God to do devotion for an interview, then someone gives knowledge as a means.
What is the real source in your eyes? ”Guruji said,“ By worshiping God by any means, staying away from ego, hypocrisy and grandeur can be found.
The devotion done with a clean mind and a pure heart automatically succeeds. Having firm faith in God, he can be found at ease by remaining unmistakable on the truth and remembering his name. ”He then said,“ Sahib is my Eko, Eko is brother. That means my God is one. He emphasized the worship of an Onkar on a step-by-step basis.
Guruji in his sermon often used to say that arrogance, whether of caste or wealth, post or knowledge - is the greatest enemy of man. The egoistic person must fall one day or the other. Therefore man should show his humility. He used to say, "God is the truth." He is fearless and free from the shackles of birth and death. '
Guru Nanak Dev went to many states of the country and preached virtue and devotion. By going to the pilgrimages, he used to inspire the devotees to renounce superstitions and wrong beliefs. Today the whole world is taking inspiration from his teachings.
