It's Okay Not To Be Okay

Everyone from time to time goes through various thoughts of self-doubt & regrets every choice ever been made. The important thing to remember here is that we all are together, you aren't alone.. and it's OKAY to feel what you feel. But the important thing is to bounce back from that feeling & to have a calm mind. 

The best thing to do at such a time is to take a break.

  • Maintain a journal & write down your feelings.
  • Go for a walk
  • Spend time with pets, kids & plants
  • Talk to your close friends, family
  • Listen to music
  • Draw or paint something
  • Drink hot chocolate, tea & eat good food

Do anything that alleviates your mood. Anything but take harsh decisions. Don't let that anger or fear take over you and into making decisions which you will regret later. Don't ever make decisions about your job or get into any arguments with your friends or family when your mood is not right. You will regret it later, it's just best to keep quiet & distract yourself at the moment.

Take your time. Don't ever feel guilty for thinking that you took some time off, or maybe stopped talking with someone because you didn't feel like explaining. Sometimes, our closest people don't understand what it is that is bothering us & in that concern, they might say something that might rub you off in the wrong way. Don't speak at that time, it's best to just politely tell them that you will talk later instead of lashing out at them for something which honestly isn't even their fault. They are just concerned & you have a lot of thoughts on your mind. 

It's okay, we have all been there. It's important to bounce back. But take your time, make your own path. Do it your own way. You don't owe anyone any kind of explanation when you are trying to heal your heart. 

Realize what you need to do, ask for help if needed. I agree it is difficult to speak when your mind is racing with thoughts. You might feel that they will judge you, but not everyone will. Be selective to whom you open up to. Talk to your trusted friend or your partner. Don't bottle those feelings all in yourself. You might end up being like a volcano, which is honestly dangerous! Abruptly erupting :D Trust me, it gets ugly! I have been there, you don't want to be the person spitting out lava :D

Jokes apart, remember that you are amazing. There are a LOT of people who love you, you are beautiful in every way & always love yourself :) I am proud of you & of your progress in healing your soul!
