Have you ever felt that someone is trying to put you through misery owing to their misery? Or have you experienced a situation where someone is trying to boost before you, and you do not know why?

Well, this is not uncommon to many of us, but the problem is when this comes from an unknown person. 

So, here I will share a small incident that took place a couple of days back.

I got a call from some person who received my details for an education portal. He started with the basic greetings and continued forward to share his query. He was looking for someone who can help his staff understand managerial principles with the help of simulation sessions.

Listening to this, I enquired what the company was about? How many employees were there? Which is the basic skill development he was looking for? I expected to get a revert about all the details, but the way this conversation turned amazed me.

He started with listing down reputed companies like Google and others who were scared of him and his skills, so he was never appointed. Moving ahead, he stated that a day before, he contacted another educationist and helped her get a job in Big4 with just a call.

I am still confused about how to reach. But he continued, "apne muh miyan mithu banana." I tried to interrupt, but he was so busy in his dream world that he ignored everything. Well, almost 25 minutes elapsed, and still, he was not getting to the point.

Things started to irritate me, and so I asked him, "What he is exactly pointing to?" Now, he moved in another direction and started to point out my qualifications, skills, and fees, which made me angry. I swear I would have slapped him if he was in front of me.

It was high time, and so I just said a few things, and he panicked. "Ok Sir, accepted you are the most intelligent and honorable man breathing on this earth. But Google was scared of you then why have you started a similar company to outbeat them. You helped a teacher get a job in Big4, wow but you cannot help your employees to get trained. And you can earn lakhs but still you are here bargaining on fees. Wow Sir you are amazingly great, i wish i could meet you."

Before I moved to appraise him more, he disconnected.

A couple of days went by, and he again called, and I was sure this was his favourite pastime activity. He started in the similar way he did earlier, but I had a different plot this time. I just said, "Sir, you tried to scam a few days back and failed. I guess you forgot. Try someone new this time, maybe you will be successful."

He was horrified and disconnected.

I am not here actually telling you all this because it is something different, but just to point fact, NEVER EVER BE INTIMIDATED BY ANYONE.

No matter how great others are, you are great in your way, and if someone is trying to boost around, maybe it's because they want validation from others about being great, but believe me, 

"We all are wonderful the way we are."
