Why Justice To 'Decision Making' Is Necessary

There is a busy and congested road in front of my house. I use this road sometimes in my car and sometimes walking on foot. Whenever I drive my car and rush (which is very common), I think, "why do so many people walk on this road? Can't these people stay home instead of crawling here?

If someone suddenly comes in front of my car, I harass him for my reading. Many words. This trauma is very quiet in my mind, which I only hear alone, but sometimes, it comes out loud and clear.

But whenever I walk the same path, my thoughts flow to the other side. "Why are these motorists so impatient at all? What's so fast? Will the world end?" when another car touches me or someone on foot, psychological trauma begins.

Life is no exception. Our views change depending on our role / involvement, which can change at any time. Sometimes we have a government and sometimes we oppose the opposition.

Sometimes we are customers and sometimes we sell our ideas / products. Sometimes we are employees and sometimes we are managers.

Sometimes we are parents and sometimes we are children. No matter what role we play, we tend to prove to the opposition that it is a lie in our mind, so that our position may look 'right'. But is it necessary?

It is natural to have a bias towards the role we are playing in a particular moment. But sticking to it and being prejudiced becomes a hindrance in the flow of life. 'Situational bias towards one's own position/role in society is the most frequently committed sin unintentionally.

You may ask, "Why should I worry about everything?" Whenever you make decisions and your decisions affect others, this is important and you will pay attention to it. If you are the CEO or senior management, you may be lucky enough to call a presentation from your staff and get all the input before making limited decisions / policies.

But ordinary people do not find this luxury and often fall into this trap of racism. The time to make the most decisions in everyday life and the availability of all the inputs is limited to the average person like you and me (someone like me who wrote this article and someone like you who read it).

Having a balanced view of critical / important decisions is the key to a happy life, not just now, but in the future. This skill set is not very difficult to develop and many meditation techniques are available for this.

Removing this limit is another such practice that is suggested here. Just find an uninterrupted time / place, come to a relaxed place and be a witness to your thought process. Let these come, pass, pass. Do not separate it from good or bad.

The progressive thinking will stabilize and eventually lead to an 'empty state' if we engage in this practice. This can be done daily for a few minutes at first. Repeated practice will help to create a balanced attitude.

When we find ourselves imitating the game of life with an impartial attitude, we do not need to prove to others that they are wrong in order to prove themselves righteous. The decisions taken with this attitude are the perfect combination of logic and emotion and also according to our taste level.
