How To Focus On Your Goal?

Every one has goal in life then you should assign a stipulated time for that goal to reach then how is that possible that our mind get fixed to that goal. we started doing something thinking of that we will achieve that goal at any cost but you didn't get even 1 percent result. you get distracted or your mind changed. you were in relationship when you started working on your goal but suddenly everything ended and you broke up with your partner then you surrendered yourself to the intoxicating substances like alcohol, beer, tobacco etc what actually happened is that you distracted from your goal. I dont want to go into why we distracted. The point is we need to focus on our goal. yesterday i was playing badminton and what i noticed that i was confident until i  was winning the game i.e if something is happening according to us then we get overconfident or excited and when we are failing or depressed then we play very poor than our natural game then suddenly we loose intrest in the game. Then the solution we want is how to work consistently towards our goal even if your slow or doing very little but all you have to do is to consistently working on the same thing again and again. Dont you think if we want to achieve something in life then we should have these qualities in ourselves. If we are play naturally then you will be in a flow everything is happening spontaneously at that time, you dont need to take any efforts. win or loose is does not play important role when we play naturally all we want is just to play naturally. Naturally in the sense effortless. it should be effortless effort that you are working and you are not putting any efforts. This should not be your goal that you are 100 % efforts that not going to last forever. If you set any goal in which you are putting lots of efforts then is it practical to achieve that goal. suppose what happens when you are putting no efforts still you are getting 100 percent efforts if we take example of a guy who is putting 100 %efforts in gym & want to achieve a fit body and there is a guy who is just playing badminton for 1 hour daily so no need to give any Answer.
