It was Monday morning at about 9:00 am when the house bell rang at Sanvi's house. She was a bit scared as she used to live alone in Mumbai for studying Engineering. Many satisfactory things had happened with her due to the past three months. She was sleepy as she was studying till 4:00 am in the morning. The bell was continuously ringing, she stood up and went to open the door. When she opened the door, she was happy to see her friend, in fact, her best friend, Ruhi on the threshold. She invited Ruhi to come inside the house. Sanvi was more than amazed after listening to what Ruhi uttered……
It was a peaceful morning when Sanvi woke up from a slumber. Her father gave her a letter that said, “She had cleared the scholarship test she had given for Engineering”. She was amused after reading the letter and gave her mum, daddy a tight hug. Sanvi started packing her luggage to be off for Mumbai, her dream place. Her parents were happy for their little princess. Their little girl was all set to fly with her bright wings in the sky. Her father dropped her at the airport, she boarded the flight and was in Mumbai after an hour or two.
After getting landed in Mumbai she went to the hostel of her college where she filled the formalities and went to the room. The next day was a special day for her as it was the beginning of her career. She was accompanied by a roommate -Ruhi who was a very supportive and good friend. After getting freshen up and having food she went to the bed and slept while talking with her roommate. With the rise of the sun, a new day full of opportunity was waiting for her. She got ready and was off with Ruhi to her classes. Her eyes were filled with passion, dreams, and goals. As soon as she entered the classroom, she saw a boy called Aadvik. He was a young, tall, and charming boy. It was love at first sight from her side. Sanvi fell in love with the boy. He belonged to a well-known family and was addicted to studies.
Aadvik saw Sanvi and somewhere the bell of love rang in his heart as well. He waved at Sanvi and Sanvi waved him back with a delight on her face. Since she was a new student, Aadvik tried to make friends with her. Sanvi was happy and replied, “Thank you. I think we will get along well”. They both were friends now. They exchanged their phone numbers, became friends on social media, and were pals with each other. In a short time, they were good friends although Aadvik was not able to take Ruhi's place in Sanvi's life, as she was her best friend. Both the young people used to meet every day, text every day and sometimes Aadvik would come along with Sanvi and Ruhi for dinner. It was three years since Sanvi was about to complete her Engineering when Aadvik decided to propose Sanvi. Sanvi was a good and passionate student so Aadvik was confused about whether she would accept her proposal or not. But to try his luck he dressed up and went to her.
On a Thursday morning, Aadvik was dressed up in formal clothes with a scent put on and red roses in his hand. He looked like a gentleman and was all ready to propose the lady of his dreams. He saw Sanvi coming to the college, keeping his anxiety on one side and knowing the vulnerability imposed on their friendship he moved towards Sanvi and sat on his knees with a bouquet of red roses to propose Sanvi. He was looking nervous but took a breath and started saying, “Found the reason for my smile, the day I found you. Will you let me be the reason for your smile?” Sanvi was flattered by him and said “YES” which is suffice for a lad whose heart is on the line. They hugged each other and were a happy couple. Aadvik loved Sanvi unnaturally and would do anything for Sanvi and the same was the case with Sanvi.
Eventually and gradually a year passed and both of their Engineering was completed. Both being good students got jobs in esteemed companies and owned flats. Aadvik had already told his family about Sanvi, now Sanvi was left to do so. With accumulating all her courage she called up her parents and after talking for at least half an hour she piled up the courage and told her parents about Aadvik. Sanvi was Hoping against hope for her parent's answer but their reactions were totally opposite of what she thought. Instead of scolding or getting upset with her, they were happy and asked that when they could meet Aadvik's family. Sanvi's happiness knew no bounds and after giving love to her parents on the phone, she called up Aadvik immediately and told him that her parents wanted to meet his parents. Aadvik was happy and made arrangements for the two families to meet. That night there was another level of comfort in Sanvi's and Aadvik's sleep. Sanvi started preparing for her next day's presentation. It took her many hours to prepare the presentation that she slept at 4:00 am in the morning. When at 9:00 am her doorbell rang, thinking that Aadvik was there but her best friend Ruhi was standing in front of her. Ruhi came inside the house and told Sanvi something about Aadvik that completely shook her completely. At first, Sanvi did not believe her but Ruhi showed her some evidence through which Sanvi was insisted t believe on what Ruhi said. She told her that the guy whom she was going to marry has been earlier involved in a murder case. Sanvi was in a state of dilemma and immediately called up Aadvik.
