The first mental trigger is reciprocity.
If someone does good to you then you will also feel good and think about doing good in return. For example there is an occasion as diwali, Christmas and on that occasions your neighbors visited your house with lots of gifts for you but you have no gift for them in return then you will feel very much uncomfortable because a mental trigger has been activated inside us and that is reciprocity either you will give them others gift or you will buy a new gift from market and you will visit your neighbors and give it to them by saying that we have been lost so much in talks that i forgot to give you gifts.
you can see this everywhere. we want to be consistent with whatever image we have for ourselves. if we think we are intelligent and brave then we do similar actions we will learn new things easily and if we think we are nervous and shy then our actions are also similar to our thoughts. example you want to give small work to a person for example asking him to bring glass of water, spoon etc start with small work and if he does that then give him the big works to complete and he will definitely do it for you because he want to renain consistent with his personality.
if we see someone doing some work abd and we also get inclined to do that work then this mental trigger is known as mental proof. for example we want to download an app before downloading we see their reviews i.e social proof and then we download.
we mostly listen to that person whom we like. everone like these 3 types of person i. e 1) similar, 2)praise 3)cooperate. if you really want to make friends then firstly you see the similar qualities in them and then give them a genuine compliment.
we often listen to them whom we think is a knowledgeable expert. for example more the elegant uniform more people will consider you as an authorized person thats why police, army people wear uniforms.
everyone wants that thing that is scarce in quantity. Therefore everyone buys diamond. similarly if you want to apply this in your life then if any one calls you then don't pick their phone quickly.
