Are Hero Worshiping For Real?

Hey! Long time. Hw ya doing? Okay so, recently I had read a story ‘Going Places’ written by A.R Barton. This story actually revolves around Adolescent hero worshipping and fantasizing. I thought why not make this as a content for a blog today.

Have you ever fallen in love with an actor/cricketer/footballer or anyone in an on-screen? What do you feel for ‘em? Have you ever got pretty good dreams about ’em? Are hero worshipping real?  Hero worship basically means excessive admiration for someone or someone whom you idolize.

Hero worship is a part of growing up. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. There are many myths about hero worshipping. Most common myth is “It is unhealthy to worship a hero”. Is it really unhealthy? The answer is a big NO, but ‘anything can rather be unhealthy in an extreme quantities and hero worship is no exception to the rule. Everyone one has heroes; someone that they can look up to someone similar to what they aspire to be. There's nothing about having heroes. In fact, it is rather helpful in getting through life when you do have heroes'.

I must say that, many of you have dreamed about about your favorite hero (specially teenagers, don't lie okay! ;). The kind of attraction and adoration you show to 'em is more than you show to your peer group or anyone others. There has been more situations like where parents (I meant old generation here) think this is kinda like high level of stupidity.

Here are some famous lines from the story ‘Going Places' in which these lines are been known for adolescent worshipping and fantasizing:

‘His eyes freckled and turns upwards slightly, and when he smiles he smiles so shyly, exposing his teeth. His eyes are green, and when he looks straight at you seem to shimmer. They seem gentle, almost afraid. Like a gazelle’s. And look away. You let his eyes run over you a little. And then you come back to find them, slightly breathless.'

These above mentioned lines are on a subject of immediate relevance to the life of school leavers. As a teenager even, I had such dreams, thoughts and fantasizing about many of my favorite hero's. It could be anyone even your friends, family member etc. Hero fantasizing is good, but make sure you don't make it your destiny.

Almost everyone have their favorite hero's, super woman etc. Who's yours? Comment below and lemme know!  (Mine is Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput🤫)

REMEMBERING SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT IN HIS DEATH ANNIVERSARY. YOU'RE ALIVE IN ALL OUR HEARTS. ❤️

Thankyou for taking time and reading this space.

 Love💜
