Do we really read blogs or just swipe ? Well sometimes  I'm guilty of doing that . Sorry . 

Sometimes i forget what's the real reason why i started writing blogs . The glamour of likes , comments and followers takes one away from the real reason . I write for the pleasure of writing. 

I never thought writing would be so much fun . In school when our teacher used to ask the class to write an essay on any particular topic my shoulders used to drop and i felt as if a burden was placed on them . Such was the pressure of writing an essay .  It was only during exams that i actually used to think and write or rather wrote what i had memorised . It never happened that i wanted to just lift a pen and paper and write about my experiences. 

In school i always felt the pressure of writing never the pleasure of writing . Once you pass out of school there are few chances you get to write about something. In my engineering days i was busy coding and enjoying with friends and the thought of writing something never crossed my mind . College days go so fast the time just flies. Who would think about writing when time is flying around you . 

When i prepared for competitive exams i read much , never wrote much . Whatever i wrote was for exam purpose and when i joined my job,  i didn't have the time to think about it. It's such an easy excuse - to have no time . Now that im recovering from Covid have i finally experienced it , the pleasure of writing. 

Just like me,  many us here on candlemonk might feel the same . Just as there is immense pleasure in writing same is with the pleasure of reading . To read a beautiful blog , a beautiful experience makes you smile . 

There are some wonderfully written blogs here . Wonderful short stories and experiences , and some very informative blogs too. For some people writing comes naturally to them, but for many it's an effort. An effort to do something new. An effort to get out of our comfort zone and to write. Let's appreciate their effort, let's read them out. 

Let's make an effort to read the blogs and not just swipe it because a genuine blogger has put her/his heart and soul into it . Let us experience the pleasure of reading
