What is Intraday Trading? 

When you buy shares of any company and sell it on the same day,it is called intraday trading.Market timings are 9.15 am to 3.30 pm in India.

What are the requirements to fulfill? 

You must have a demat or trading account.There any many good online broking sites such as Zerodha,Upstox and Angel Broking where you can open your demat account.

Advantages of Intraday Trading 

• This provides a margin on buying shares so that you can buy the shares at lesser prices and in abundant quantity.
• You don't have to study the fundamentals of a company you are trading because even a best share having strongest of fundamentals can perform badly on a certain day.You must be familiar with the recent news of a company.
• It gives faster returns.You can buy and sell the shares within seconds.You don't have to wait for many days which hapens in case of CNC(Cash and carry)or long term investments.If you buy a certain share at 100 Rs. and within minutes its price surges to 103 Rs,you sell it and make an instant profit.
• If you think that price of a certain share will fall,you can sell it(actually your broker does it on ur behalf),this is called as short-selling.In this way you can make a profit even if share market is dropping.
• You can generate a regular source of income by doing intraday trading.There are many people who don't any job still  earn money 💵 through this trading.They do not only earn a living out of it but also making crores of rupees without having a particular business.

After reading these advantages,you might be thinking that this very easy.I will do it and make money easily but let me introduce to drawbacks of intraday trading.

Disadvantages of Intraday Trading 

• Intraday Trading comes with a huge risk because of the compulsion of selling shares on the same day.If share doesn't perform as per your study,you will lose a chunk of money.If you don't sell shares on the same day,your broker will do it at the end of that day(3.30 pm).If you are not ready for a risk,intraday is not for you.
• You might incur  a huge loss on the same day and it's very heart breaking.You will not always have a profit because your guess will be definitely wrong someday. 
• Lot of discipline,control and practice is required.Greedy behaviour can drain your money within seconds.Frequent practice is the ultimate key.
