I will narrate the incident when my beloved grandfather's aged loving guru, whom we called “thakur dadu” in his Barrackpore town ashram went to his heavenly abode. No one was there to take the charge of the ashram the way thakur dadu could manage. We were all longing for an appropriate guru who could handle the situation. Then came forward his disciple our "Gopal baba" who was accepted by most who were connected with the ashram. A day came when Gopal baba took charge as the ashram guru. Happy days were back again. Many rituals took place and many pujas were performed. Days went well. But many longed for the previous guru, “ thakur dadu”, whose absence was remembered. But, because Gopal baba was also a devoted disciple of “thakur dadu”, his heart went out and cried for his guru. He could perform all duties the same way “ thakur dadu” did in his lifetime. This way days passed on, and within a year Gopal baba took the same facial outlook as his own guru “ thakur dadu”. Now some unknown devotee who came in the ashram after some year's gap greeted Gopal baba to be thakur dadu, and asked how his health was, because he had heard about the health problems he was going through. Everybody was astonished because thakur dadu was no more, it was Gopal baba whom he had mistaken as thakur dadu. All were excited because in Gopal baba he could see the face of thakur dadu. This happened because Gopal baba's love for thakur dadu made his appearance exactly photocopy of Thakur dadu, and Gopalji was happy realising that, and dedicated devotedly towards pujas and other rituals with more enthusiasm, because he has become like his guruji.
When asked how was this possible Gopal baba explained, that just an immense love for his guru and great respect for him he could feel the presence of guru within himself. But, outwardly his face transformed into the guru's features, alarmingly without his awareness and he enjoyed the change. When Gopal baba and Thakur dadu had no blood relation yet now they looked alike. Even brothers from the same parents do not have the same features. This is the supernatural phenomenon, created just by simple love for his guru and self mind and body mechanism, which otherwise is not possible even by natural birth.
Mind is such a great device that simply by love and devotion some supernatural phenomenon is achieved, which otherwise is not possible by natural biological processes. Even attaining magical possessions by simply possible imaginations are feasible, whereas by practical workout may seem sometimes difficult.
