Hello friends. This is my next blog about my trip to 1000 years old Mysterious Tree called Tree of Life.
I am talking about Tree of Life in Bahrain. We went to see the Tree of Life on November 10.
The Tree of Life(Shajarat al-Hayat), an outstanding natural phenomenon.
The tree is standing alone on a small hill in the middle of the desert. Although studies have shown that The Tree of Life is only 400 years old, it is thought to be over 1000 years old.
Its far away (36km) from where we live. We left from our place at 4'ock.
The whole place is a dessert area. On the way we saw numerous industries like The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) Refinery and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) BSC and also many camps.
We saw a large number of individuals building tents. There are families among them, as well as friends. They are making tents by themselves. Children benefit from camp by being in a safe, nurturing setting where their safety is the top priority.
We had a great time on our long drive. We reached there at 5'ock. But it was a tiny bit dark by the time we reached there because of the winter season. And also the roads are poor because it is an outer region from the city.
The area surrounding the Tree is empty from any other green elements, making the Tree look like a single green spot on a large white canvas.
We parked our car outside of the protecting ring.
In order to protect the Tree and maintain its freshness, a natural land barrier/wall is created all around by an excavation and refilling process. Because of its particularity, visitors have been visiting this unique spot, badly polluting it as their cars get so close to its branches.
As a result, the wall keeps all the cars in the outer ring, devoting the inner ring for visitors, we must walk to reach the Tree and feel the heat.
We walked on the inner ring. We noticed boards describing the history, investigations, architectural discoveries, and excavations on one side of the wall. I am very happy to know something new. We snapped selfies and photos.
The Tree of Life has many sisters all over the world, which also enjoy a particular status in their natural context and country of origin.
19 of these trees are represented and located all along the circular wall, displaying information about its name, location, direction and distance from Bahrain's Tree of life. We saw these boards and we clicked photos and selfies.
We managed to get to the tree in some way, although it resembles a banyan tree, it is not very tall. We perched on the tree branches, looked around, and shot some photos.
A trip is not complete without some snacks or other food. We bought some ice cream and enjoyed it. Then we went back to our house. That concludes our road trip.
It is very fascinating to know about something new. If you have a specific type of travel story in mind or want to hear a particular story, feel free to ask. I'd be happy to share more!!
Ok friends will see you in my next blog.
Be happy and knowledgeable!!
